Jon Kaufman - CEO
Jon founded the NBS family of companies in 1984 with the idea of providing high tech telephone system solutions as an alternative to the then lackluster offerings of the incumbent phone companies. Placing an emphasis on providing first class customer care and applications support proved to be what customers wanted and was missing in the industry. Telephone system sales, installation, and service, was shortly followed by the introduction of programs allowing customers the ability to place low cost long distance telephone calls - a novel idea in the mid-eighties. Jon has continuously shaped NBS as a vehicle to present clients with the latest, most cost effective telecom solutions. An Honors Economics graduate of Stony Brook University, Jon has constantly monitored all facets of the business, ensuring customers cutting edge technology while ensuring NBS's profitability and stability, year after year.

Russell P. Markman - President
With over twenty years of telecom sales and management experience, Russell is responsible for overseeing all aspects of NBS' day to day activities. Russell came to NBS from the RCN Corporation, where he held the position of Sales Director in its commercial and wholesale markets group. The former President of National Calling Plan, Russell has a background rich in hardware and circuit technology, and often assists NBS Dealers by consulting directly with their clients.

Larry Laskowski - Executive Vice President
Larry began his career in IT and telecom as a programmer of commercial applications and subsequently joined an IT consultancy. He joined the NBS family in 1993 as lead programmer and quickly was promoted to IT Manager. In his current role as EVP, Larry still leads in the design and development of most NBS innovations as well as assisting Jon in orchestrating corporate direction.

Ralph J. Carrafiello - Controller
Ralph's career includes 11 years as a finance director with Ernst & Young (E&Y). He also served as a member of E&Y's assurance & advisory client serving group. Ralph's extensive accounting and financial reporting experience & background includes monthly closing & financial statement preparation, data mining & analytics, ad-hoc reporting, financial modeling & budgeting, accounting systems implementation & integration. Prior to joining E&Y, he served in several accounting & finance management roles in the retail & consumer products sector. Ralph is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Jersey and he also holds an MBA from Montclair University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Upsala College.
